Tim Hattenburg
A retired school teacher and
athletic director, Tim began his five-year term in 2006. Most recently he
taught history and social studies
at North Pines Middle School for 18
years. A graduate of Central Valley
High School, he earned his bachelor
of arts in education from Washington
State University. He completed post-graduate
work at Eastern Washington and Gonzaga
universities, as well as Whitworth
College.
In addition to being active
in local politics, Tim is currently
working with local publishing company
Tornado Creek Publications as a researcher
and writer for an upcoming publication
on the history of the Spokane police
department.
Tim and wife Becky have three
grown children.

Frank Payne
Married to his wife Carolyn for more than 50
years, Frank W. Payne started his second
five-year term in 2006. Frank has
served as both a chair and trustee.
Originally from Pueblo, Colorado,
Frank attended the College of Idaho
in Caldwell. He is a graduate of California
Industrial School.
Frank served on the Caldwell,
Idaho public library board of trustees
from 1968-1980, and was named the
Idaho State Trustee of the Year in
1977. Frank has worked in construction
and general contracting for more than
54 years.
Frank and wife Carolyn are parents
of seven and grandparents of seven
and are active members of their church.
They enjoy the Spokane Symphony, books,
and their recently completed "retirement" home.

Mary E. Lloyd
The newest member of
the Board, Mary began her
term in January 2007.
Hailing from the Spokane
Valley, Mary has worked for the Washington
State Department of Transportation
(WSDOT) since 1984 as a transportation
engineer. Relocating from the Puget
Sound area, she has an associate of
applied science degree. Prior to her
work with WSDOT, Mary surveyed logging
roads in Washington state.
Married for more than 20 years,
Mary has four children and one grandson.
She is an active member of the community
and enjoys organic gardening, reading,
learning about northwest rock and
geology, and cooking. |
