Teen Volunteers

Fulfill your volunteer requirements, build your resume, and gain useful job skills! We’re looking for teens that are ready to give of their time and talent to benefit their community.

Here are a few examples of possible volunteer opportunities:

  • Filming and editing videos
  • Writing content for our website (like blogs and book reviews)
  • Helping with children’s programs (set-up, take-down, assistance with activities)
  • Sharing an expertise, talent, or skill with others through online courses
  • Serving on a teen advisory board

Volunteers should be able to commit to at least 8 hours per quarter, be between the ages of 15 and 19, and attend an orientation before jumping in.

Teen volunteers will be based at either the Spokane Valley or the North Spokane Library.

The winter volunteer quarter begins on January 2, 2015. We will accept applications for the winter quarter through December 12, 2014. Orientations will take place at the North Spokane Library on December 18, 2014 from 5-6pm and at the Spokane Valley Library on December 16, 2014 from 5-6pm.
