We'll answer your questions and renew your materials.

Services for Children and Teens
Programming includes preschool storytimes, special programs, and summer reading programs. Specially-trained staff members encourage children and teens, parents and caregivers to use the library regularly, a habit that nurtures success in school and in life.

On-line Services
You can access the library's complete catalog, information on your library account, periodical and newspaper databases, the World Wide Web, and library district information on-line in all branches. Requesting Materials
You can request that books, magazines, and audio-visual materials be held for pick-up: from the library, by phone, or through our website (www.scld.org) if you have a library card and a PIN.

Interlibrary Loans
If you can't locate what you want, we can usually borrow it from another library.

Special Outreach Services
Outreach Services brings library services to those in the community who are unable to visit our facilities.

Outreach staff regularly visit retirement homes, extended care facilities, child care facilities and group homes for the developmentally disabled. Homebound customers may receive library services by mail. Call 893-8400 for information.

Accessibility
Our library services are accessible to people with disabilities. We also provide large print books and books on tape. Let us know if you have special needs.

Meeting Rooms
Community meeting rooms are available in most libraries, and some also have small conference rooms. Call your nearest library for information.

Test Proctoring
Spokane County Library District can provide proctoring of exams for students, with a few limitations. For more information, call your nearest library.
