It is the policy of Spokane County Library District
to encourage the use of volunteers to augment
the work of paid staff, assisting the District
in carrying out its mission and providing an enriching
community service opportunity.
Qualified volunteers will be recruited, trained,
and retained in a manner that provides an overall
benefit to the District and makes effective use
of District resources.
The Director is responsible for establishing
and administering procedures to carry out this
policy.
