When the library closes, let the Nerf battle begin! We supply the Nerf toys and rounds and snacks.
This program is for kids in grades 3–5.
Registration and signed permission form are required.

Journaling Through Art
Capture your daily adventures in a journal with self-doodles. No drawing skills are required.
This event is for kids in grades 6+.

Create Your Own Gobos
Learn how to create a stencil, called a gobo, which you can add to the lights in The Studio to control the light’s shape or texture. Create a fun visual design for the background in your videos. We’ll test out our gobos on the LED lights and record short interviews to see how they look.
This program is for kids in grades 4+.

Video Camera Crew Create: News Segment
Work with others as a camera crew to make a news segment. Learn to light a scene, use a green screen, record video, and edit video in iMovie.

Swanky Swine Showdown
Decorate a piggy bank to make it uniquely yours, and learn about deciding when to spend, give away, and save your hard-earned money with our “Spend or Save” activity! Your decorated piggy bank will be on display for a week in the library for voting, and after votes are collected, you can take it home.
This Money Smart Week program is for all ages. Kids 8 and under must bring an adult.

This kit includes two Canon XA10 HD Camcorders, two Sennheiser dual wireless microphones, two camera tripods, one tripod dolly, one shoulder mount, two LED lights, and one backdrop frame with green, white, and black drop cloths.
