Create with Glowforge: Holiday Ornaments

Brighten your home with ornaments designed and created by you at the library. You’ll have several basic designs to personalize with your creative ideas that the Glowforge laser printer will cut, carve, and engrave, right before your eyes. Materials will be provided. Registration is required.

Take It Apart

Curious about how things work? Now you can take them apart and demystify technology! Using basic tools, gloves, and safety goggles, we’ll take apart electronics, small appliances and other devices donated by Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest that no longer serve their purpose, but may still reveal secrets.

For kids in grades K+: Kids 8 and under must bring an adult.

Hands-on with the Scientific Method

We pose a scientific question. You get to build a tool to collect data to help us discover the answer. Be prepared to uncover even more questions. Bring your curiosity, your creativity, and your thinking caps!
