Nonprofit professionals can learn how to make a lasting difference by building a sustainable organization.

Entrepreneurs, business owners, and their employees can learn more about using social media for their business, making sure they have all of the marketing must-haves, and writing a business plan that fits the needs of their business.

Marketing Your Small Business on Social Media (en español) EVENT CANCELLED

Learn to market your small business with Facebook and other social media tools. We’ll discuss how to define a social media strategy, improve the scope and reach of your posts, create a posting schedule, and use tools, tips, and ideas to create a community. This workshop will be presented in Spanish.

Vendor Success at Farmers Markets

Learn strategies for success as a vendor at farmers markets—both in how to apply and what to do once you’ve been accepted. Get the expertise and know-how from a panel of experts: Lisette Alent of the Inland Northwest Farmers Market Association, Rob Allen of the Fairwood Farmers Market, Jesika Harper from Farm Credit Services, and staff from Front Porch Farm. All are welcome, no matter your stage of business development.

Photographing Your Artwork: 2D Art Focus EVENT CANCELLED

Professional photographer Dean Davis teaches how to best use cameras and equipment available at The Studio to take high-resolution photographs of your artwork for grant and art show submissions, online sales, and displays. The focus of this class is two-dimensional works of art and is open to artists of all disciplines and at all career stages. Bring a small piece of art to photograph. You’re welcome to bring your own camera. Registration is required.
