For kids, tweens & teens: Bubbles, smoothies, Hamilton, Hogwarts, author Peter Brown & more

Posted on July 2, 2020 at 1:30 pm

We’re keeping summer cool and online with programs and events that are sure to bring smiles and joy.

You can make bubble wands that delight, smoothies and sweet salsa that are delicious, a painting from cooking supplies, and gnome and fairy homes that have a touch of magic. Speaking of magic, you can learn magic tricks from magician Jeff Evans.

Author and illustrator Peter Brown wants to talk to you about amazing books, such as Wild Robots and Creepy Pair of Underwear. And author Kelly Milner Halls wants to share with you all she knows about mythical creatures and aliens.

Sing the songs and celebrate the hit musical Hamilton. Play trivia with family friends to see who knows the most about Harry Potter and Hogwarts.

Radical Rick is back with new science demonstrations about the forces all around us every day. Mobius Science is also demonstrating science concepts and reading stories about STEM adventures.

We talked about Online Camp Read-a-Rama last month, and there is still space in some camp sessions to explore stories, crafts, songs, and more. Sign up today!
