FOR TWEENS

Turn summer boredom into creative challenges, hands-on experiments, and late night fun—all at the library!

Solve clues with your friends and family to beat the clock in the program Escape Room: The Backstage Challenge. Or take on the challenge of a secret ingredient to show off your culinary skills in our Meal in a Mug Challenge.

Perform cool science experiments in our hands-on workshop Radical Rick & the Science of Sound, and Create Plaster Art using silicon chocolate molds and colorful plaster with artist Makayla Miracle. Show off even more of your artistic skills when you Create Your Watermelon Racer for the Airway Heights Days Watermelon Races.

Take a turn in front of and behind the video camera, while learning the skills to go viral, in two Video Camera Crew Create programs.

You have two chances to explore the library after it closes at Late Night Fun & Games and Late Night Nerf Battle. Make some noise and battle fellow tweens!
