High school poets compete in local poetry slams

You’re invited to see, listen, and cheer on local high school students as they perform original poetry on stage. Admission is free.

Fitz Fitzpatrick emcees all three of these events, which are for all ages. The judges include local poets, writers, and literary enthusiasts. Audience participation—support for the poets and boos for the judges—is encouraged!

Top ranked poets receive prizes sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
