It’s that time of year when great weather beckons us to come outside and get active.
The Library District is responding to the call with out-of-the-ordinary walks, excellent tips from outdoor enthusiasts, and opportunities to step into some new fitness routines.
Celebrate National Trails Day with a stroll on the Columbia Plateau Trail while developing your birdwatching skills. Learn tips from outdoor enthusiasts about microadventures, where you can explore without too much traveling and even if your budget is tight.
Walk along the trail around Medical Lake with Dr. Chad Pritchard, Associate Professor of Geology at Eastern Washington University, as he shares his recent research of Medical Lake granite and other geologic wonders in the local area.
Join the Moran Prairie Walking Club to get the support and encouragement of others. Take a fitness class especially designed for seniors led by Tim Brummett, certified Senior Fitness Specialist.
