Spokane County Library District announces that all county libraries will close their buildings to the public and are returning to curbside pickup services only beginning on Wednesday, November 18.
In-library services will be paused until further notice.
Curbside Pickup hours will remain the same, Monday–Saturday, 12–6pm on days when a library would normally be open. Days and locations can be found on our Curbside Pickup web page.
Digital services and resources remain available 24/7 in our Digital Library. Our virtual programs will continue as scheduled, and you can learn more and sign up at our events calendar. Our remote and mobile services will continue to be provided, including Book Butler, Book a Librarian, and mobile printing.
The Library District began offering curbside pickup, along with virtual services and programs in June. Library reopening guidelines were issued by the governor’s office in October, and after putting all restrictions in place, the District opened the 11 county libraries on Thursday, November 12. Considering the latest announcement of restrictions on indoor gatherings, and as a community partner in the effort to combat the pandemic, the Library District will be pausing in-library services for the next four weeks.
