Library in the Park: Stories, juggling, dancing, space adventures, & yoga

We’re hosting stories, music and juggling, and space week at Edgecliff, Terrace View, and Valley Mission Parks this summer. Plus kids 18 and younger get free meals.

Make a splash at Waterfront Park in Medical Lake during Mermaid Storytime with engaging stories and seaworthy crafts.

We’re having fun with families doing yoga in the park and outside. We hope to see you there!

Summer Meals & Stories
For all ages

We’re reading a selection of books for all ages in Spokane Valley Parks, while kids 18 years and under enjoy a free meal provided by East Valley School District. You can also enjoy free swim day at Terrace View and Valley Mission Pools on these days.

Mermaid Storytime
For all ages

Enjoy stories about mermaids and the wonders of water, followed by seaworthy crafts. You can even pack a picnic and enjoy the lake following storytime. We’ll see you at the picnic shelter.

Outdoor Family Yoga
For all ages

Try out basic yoga postures, mindfulness, and meditation in a playful and fun yoga class for the whole family. We are focusing on balance, focus, coordination, and stress reduction. Bring a yoga mat or towel.
