Posted on July 21, 2022 at 4:00 am

Keep busy while being creative with a Family Take-and-Make Activity Kit that you can pick up from your library, now through August 13. Each Monday a new kit is available.

Try out a groovy and colorful design at our Tie Dye Party. LEGO bricks are back, and kids can get creative at two library programs with LEGO.

Sign up now for Virtual Summer Camp in Spanish (Campamento de Verano Virtual), which starts August 1, for crafts, stories, and science experiments, all in Spanish.

Storytimes are in person at Spokane Valley parks and at nine of our libraries in August. Stop in to enjoy stories, songs, and fingerplays with your little readers!

Family Take-and-Make Activity Kits

Each week, our Take-and-Make Activity Kits have a different topic and include supplies and directions for some crafts and activities, a recommended reading list, and additional ideas to keep exploring the topic on your own. All the materials are meant to be used up, so you don’t have to worry about returning anything! Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Limit one kit per child. Kits are available each week starting on Mondays, while supplies last.
