Now Accepting Applications for Creators in Residence

Posted on March 14, 2018 at 6:00 am

We are accepting applications for five Creators in Residence at The Lab at North Spokane Library. The Lab will host a different creator for each month-long residency from September 2018 to January 2019.

Creators could be visual artists, quilters, designers, bakers, cake decorators, or another type of hobbyist. We are looking for skills, abilities, and expertise that translate into mediums that are visually stimulating, can be accommodated by the functionality of The Lab, and that can be shared with the community.

The Creator-in-Residence program aims to provide engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for the community, while promoting and showcasing local creators and hobbyists, and provides the opportunity for the public to explore new experiences within Spokane County. This program gives creators space to practice and apply their talents while sharing their expertise and skills with the community through scheduled workshops and classes at The Lab.

Learn more about this residency and how to apply at our Creator in Residence webpage. The application deadline is April 20, 2018.
