Play & Learn Storytime is a place for parents and caregivers to interact and play with their children. Storytime introduces important literacy, STEM, and social skills that a child will need for kindergarten.
Our storytimes have been created with specific ages in mind, focusing on playful learning concepts that are geared for the age of the children. So, we have storytimes specifically for babies (ages 0–18 months), toddlers (ages 1.5–3 years), preschoolers (ages 3–5 years), as well as for the whole family (all ages).
While you’re at storytime, you’ll of course hear and see stories and you’ll also experience songs, fingerplays, and activities created for exploring concepts appropriate for the age of the children.
With over two dozen storytimes at 10 of our libraries each week, you are sure to find one that will become a weekly outing that you and the little one in your life will look forward to.
