Register to vote at the library on National Voter Registration Day

Posted on September 7, 2018 at 6:00 am

National Voter Registration Day

Tuesday, September 25, is National Voter Registration Day.

You can update your voter registration information and register to vote at all Spokane County Library District locations all day during open hours and at the STA Plaza in Downtown Spokane, 4–7pm.

  • When you’ll turn 18 by Election day
  • When you are a newly naturalized citizen
  • When you move, even if it is just across town (most common reason for voter confusion)
  • When you change your name
  • When you haven’t voted in a while (in which case your registration may have been removed due to inactivity)

Stop by your local library during open hours to register to vote on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Look for the voter registration table or ask library staff for assistance.

Help people register to vote at a library in the Spokane County Library District. As a volunteer, you will work a short shift helping to man a table with voter registration forms and a laptop for online registration.

All volunteers will receive training and will be matched to a shift at the library or outreach location nearest you. Please sign up to volunteer by Friday, September 14.
