Get inspired by the prose and poetry of local authors sharing their work from Spokane Writes: A Poetry & Prose Anthology.

From sweet poems about birthdays and holidays to reverent depictions of nature, family, and the places we all share as inhabitants of the Inland Northwest, you are sure to hear great stories and poems from the talented writers who are our neighbors and friends.

Spokane Writes: A Poetry & Prose Anthology is a collection of stories, essays, and poems by writers of all ages who live and have lived in the Inland Northwest. The anthology commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Spokane County Library District and celebrates the local community and the plethora of writing talent in the area.

Copies of Spokane Writes will be available for purchase at each of the community readings and online at the Friends website. Proceeds from the anthology go to the Friends of the Spokane County Library District and help fund a variety of library services and programs.
