STA Summer Passes are available at all public libraries, beginning June 15.

Spokane Transit Authority (STA) offers a region-wide program to provide youth with a way to access summer fun in 2022: the STA Summer Pass. This program runs from June 15 to September 30, 2022.

The STA Summer Pass program allows youth access to great free or discounted programs available in the region and aims to increase access to public transit for youth.

The STA Summer Pass provides unlimited rides to youth ages 6–18 and students enrolled in school, up to and including grade 12.

Students entering grades 9–12 (or ages 14–18) will be required to verify age or school enrollment when picking up the STA Summer Pass. Accepted forms of identification are a state or school ID card or any document that shows proof of age or grade, such as a current library card.

The person who will be using the pass must be present to receive the STA Summer Pass. This pass is open to all students in grade 12 and below, regardless of where they live.

Visit your local library to pick up a free STA Summer Pass, available beginning June 15. Passes are limited to the first 15,000 youths.

Summer fun destinations include libraries, aquatic centers, parks, activity centers, art and music centers, skate parks, and more. STA’s service area includes the cities of Airway Heights, Cheney, Liberty Lake, Medical Lake, Millwood, Spokane, Spokane Valley, and parts of the unincorporated county.

Full details are available at the STA Summer Pass website.
