The BookEnd at Spokane Valley Mall

The BookEnd, our newest library, is now open and is an oasis of calm in the bustling Spokane Valley Mall. The BookEnd is a different take on the library—a boutique library for mall goers.
The bookshelves are filled with popular and bestselling titles. DVDs of the latest movies line the wall. Comfy armchairs give visitors a place to rest. Our computers are ready for checking email, browsing the library’s catalogue, and using the resources our Digital Library, including Consumer Reports, hoopla, OverDrive, Zinio, and SelectReads. Kids can play in our castle and explore the books in our kids’ area.
You’re invited! We’re holding an Open House with a ribbon cutting ceremony for The BookEnd on Saturday, June 17, 10am–3pm. This celebration is free and open to the public. We invite you to explore, meet our knowledgeable staff, and enjoy refreshments.
