Posted on February 7, 2019 at 6:00 am

Take on the biggest realms of fandom at adult trivia night. Bring your knowledge and your friends to create an unstoppable trivia team. You’re welcome to bring your own eats or have food delivered. Costumes and cosplayers are always welcome.

’90s

Do you love TV shows like In Living Color, Home Improvement, Blossom, and Wings? Do you miss the beeps, squeals, and static sounds of the dial-up modem just before hearing the very satisfying “You’ve got mail”? Do you still dance around the house to 1990s boy bands and girl groups, such as the Spice Girls, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, and En Vogue? Can you guess how much popcorn was consumed watching Forrest Gump, Dumb and Dumber, Titanic, and Fight Club? Wear a fly costume (props to you for being dope). It’ll be all that and a bag of chips.

Music

Do you miss VH1’s Rock & Roll Jeopardy!? Are you fluent in folk, rock, punk, grunge, metal, disco, new wave, hip hop, blues, reggae, techno, and trance? Do you know who the bassist was for the British rock band Cream? For double the fun, wear a costume for getting down to the beat.

Harry Potter

Which Hogwarts House were you sorted into? Do you know your Patronus? Which spell will make another do exactly what you want? Which spell extinguishes light—the better to stay hidden? Wear a costume to show your place in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Book vs. Film

With hundreds to choose, here are a few that start with the letter G: Gone with the Wind, The Godfather, and Gone Girl. How about Stephen King novels and stories—Carrie, The Shining, and The Green Mile? Don’t forget the sci-fi, fantasy, and dystopian fiction turned to film: Ender’s Game, The Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, and Twilight. Bring your knowledge of books that have been made into movies! Have a favorite book-to-film character? Wear a costume to show your devotion.
