Whether you want to up your social media savvy or create a unique, digital holiday card, you can gain the skills you need in visual design, photography, and video making at The Studio at Spokane Valley Library.
This fall, we’re offering lecture-style classes for teens and adults to introduce four visual design software applications available in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator.
In December, teens in grades 9–12 will have the opportunity to delve into film making in a two-day workshop. Our trained staff will show workshop participants how to use the professional video equipment and video-editing software to create their own masterpieces.

Video Making: 2-Day Workshop
Immerse yourself in filmmaking! In this hands-on two-day workshop, you explore and use professional video equipment and learn the video-editing software available on the computers in The Studio. Grades 9–12.

Set your own pace with nearly 4,000 online, on-demand courses taught by industry experts. Each includes free video tutorials plus instructor and practice files. Course categories include video, audio, photography, 3D+ animation, software developer, design, web, business, and more.
Interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online in a convenient 6-week format. Courses include college readiness, test preparation, computer fundamentals, web technology, reading and writing, general business skills, and so much more.
