It is that time of year again. Medicare Open Enrollment is available for 2020, beginning next week.
Determining the best Medicare plan for your situation can be complicated. The upside of reviewing your plan options is that you can save money.
Trained volunteers from Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW) and Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) assist you with personalized help that takes your needs into consideration.
Assistance is free and unbiased. To receive advice tailored to your needs, you can bring your Medicare card and list of medications with dosages. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
In order to change your Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plan for 2020, you must make changes during Medicare Open Enrollment from October 15 to December 7, 2019.
For more information about this program, you can call ALTCEW at 509.458.2509.
