There are 10 libraries in Spokane County Library District. All libraries feature on-site technology including Wi-Fi, computer stations, printers, and commonly-used software, as well as free use of meeting rooms.
Expect to find what you’re looking for, from books and paperbacks to DVDs, online magazines, and ebooks. Our collection of popular materials is approximately one-half million items. For many of our online resources, your library card provides access beyond the pay wall, and our educational support includes online tutoring.
The District offers events and programs for all ages from storytimes to social security workshops and everything in between. Our staff is well-trained in helping you find the information you need, whether it be in our catalog or out on the web. We also provide outreach services incorporating visits to daycares and retirement homes in our community.
Covering 1,700 square miles with 10 full-service libraries serving more than 255,000 residents, the Library District serves unincorporated Spokane County and the affiliated cities and towns of Cheney, Deer Park, Fairfield, Latah, Medical Lake, Millwood, Rockford, Spangle, Spokane Valley, Waverly (annexed to District), and Airway Heights (contracting with District).
