AccessScience
AccessScience includes the more than 7,000 articles from The McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology and the 115,000+ definitions from the Dictionary of Scientific & Technical Terms. Late breaking news stories, licensed from Science News ®, bring the science behind the news, helping you to understand the latest discoveries, or to satisfy your curiosity about the topic. Ancestry Library Edition
Contains over 4 billion names, more than 4,000 databases, primary-source documents, and a variety of features for family history research. Includes U.S. and U.K. census images and indexes, immigration records and passenger lists, and birth/marriage/death records. Vendor allows in-library use only. Accessible at any SCLD branch. Auto Repair Reference Center
Repair information for 25,000 vehicles from 1954 to the present. Includes factory drawings, wiring diagrams, technical bulletins & recalls, labor estimators. Accessible anywhere with SCLD card.


Biography Resource Center with Marquis Who's Who
A comprehensive database of over 330,000 biographies of contemporary and historical figures in all fields. The Marquis module adds additional information on more than 900,000 individuals. Accessible anywhere with SCLD card.


CultureGrams
Provides cultural information on countries and territories of the world and facts about the 50 U.S. states. Includes a kids' version featuring cultural and geographical information on selected world countries. Accessible anywhere with SCLD card.


Encyclopedia Americana
Full scale encyclopedia with over 45,000 in-depth articles, related periodical articles, illustrations, maps, tables, flags, and web links. Includes Editors' Picks research topics. Accessible anywhere with SCLD card.


GrantStation
Provides grants information about federal, state and private funding, as well as online training on grant seeking, technical assistance, and grant writing. Vendor allows in-library use only. Accessible at any SCLD branch; please check with a staff member for login assistance.


Health & Wellness Resource Center with Alternative Health Module
Provides current, understandable health and wellness information from magazines, journals, newspapers, encyclopedias, directories, and pamphlets. HeritageQuest Online
Provides access to over 25,000 family and local history books, U.S. Federal Census records from 1790-1930, Periodical Source Index, Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Application Files, and many more resources for genealogists of all levels. Accessible anywhere with SCLD card.

Literature Resource Center with Scribner's Writers and Twayne's Author Series
Biographies, bibliographies, and critical analysis of authors from every age and literary discipline. Includes Contemporary Authors, Dictionary of Literary Biography, and Contemporary Literary Criticism. Accessible anywhere with SCLD card.


LitFinder
Provides coverage of all well-known anthologized poems, in-depth coverage and complete works of many poets, and the latest poetry in periodicals such as The New Yorker, Sulfur, TriQuarterly and more. Also includes a representative anthology of thousands of short stories, explanatory material such as biographies, explanations of some of the stories, and pictures. Offers several different magazine and newspaper databases. Included are approximately 3,000 popular magazines and scholarly journals, national and Washington State newspapers, searchable by interest area groups, individually, or all databases at once.
