New Family Museum Pass

SCLD has Family Museum Passes for the Inland Northwest Rail Museum in Reardan, Washington, during the summer, from June 1 to September 30.

The museum’s collection includes almost 30 different rail cars and engines plus an outstanding selection of railroad memorabilia and an extensive library. Admission also includes one ride per person on the 2-foot gauge train ride.

For over 30 years, the train museum was located at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds. Many Spokane residents may remember riding the narrow-gauge train each September at the fairgrounds, where it was located through 2014. Now, everyone can enjoy the train ride, all of the restored trains, and railroad memorabilia at the museum in Reardan.

The museum aims to preserve the history of railroading in the Inland Northwest for future generations. Years of hard work have created a museum that you can explore and enjoy.

About Inland NW Rail Museum

In 1967, a group of railroad enthusiasts formed a local chapter of the National Railway Historical Society and named it the Inland Empire Railway Historical Society. The organization aims to preserve the history of railroading in the Inland Northwest for future generations. Years of hard work have created the museum they are proud to share today.

The museum was housed at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds, from 1978 into the 2000s, and the narrow-gauge train ride that was part of the Spokane County Interstate Fair through 2014.

Today, Inland NW Rail Museum’s collection includes almost 30 different rail cars and engines, plus an outstanding selection of railroad memorabilia and an extensive library. They have added both rolling stock and motive power to the collection recently. Ongoing locomotive restoration projects include Great Northern #598 and Spokane Portland & Seattle #804.
