Library of Things Maintenance & Move to a New Checkout System

During the months of August and September, we are moving our Library of Things collection to a new reservation system. At the same time, SCLD staff will be inspecting and providing any necessary service to the items in the collection.
The last day to reserve most items for check out is August 18. This includes all items that are reserved through the special Library of Things system. We anticipate them being available for check out again in October.
Items that check out from our regular catalog, just like a book does, will be available for checkout during this period. The lists below share things that check out just like a book and those that will be unavailable.
We are confident that the new system will provide an improved Library of Things experience for everyone.
