Family Museum Passes
If you are looking for fun and educational activities, Spokane County Library District has your ticket to fantastic destinations nearby: Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture and Mobius Discovery Center.
The Family Museum Pass is a great opportunity to visit these excellent cultural and educational centers in our community.
Museum Family Passes are available only to Spokane County Library District residents in unincorporated Spokane County and the affiliated cities and towns of Cheney, Deer Park, Fairfield, Latah, Medical Lake, Millwood, Rockford, Spangle, Spokane Valley, Waverly, and Airway Heights. Residents of Liberty Lake and the city of Spokane are not in-district for this program.
The Family Museum Pass program is generously funded by the Diane E. Zahand Fund. To support this fund, you can learn more at the Library Foundation of Spokane County website.
Reserving a Family Museum Pass
You can reserve a pass online up to 30 days in advance and print your confirmation to gain entry to a partner museum on a specific day. This means that the pass will provide entry only on the day you select.
Each Family Museum Pass provides admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children from the same household.
The person reserving the pass must be the person using the pass. Please be sure to present the pass and matching photo ID to gain admission.
Museum Family Passes can be booked up to two times per year, and bookings must be at least 30 days apart.
To reserve a museum pass, you must have a permanent, in-district Spokane County Library District library card in good standing. Residents of Liberty Lake and the city of Spokane are not in-district for this program.

Information about Visiting Mobius Discovery Center
Mobius Discovery Center is for the whole family!
Additional passes are available for summer 2026. Please check for both regular and summer passes using the buttons below.
Children must be accompanied by a person 16 years or older when visiting Mobius. Adults must be accompanied by a child to visit Mobius.
Mobius is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please visit mobiusdiscoverycenter.org for more information!
Inland Northwest Rail Museum Passes
The Inland Northwest Rail Museum operates on 30 acres near Reardan, Washington, next to the Washington Eastern Railroad short line, at the junction of State Hwy 2 and State Route 231.
Since 1967, the Inland Empire Railway Historical Society has aimed to preserve the history of railroading in the Inland Northwest for future generations. The Society’s first major project, the cleaning and painting of retired Union Pacific locomotive #3206, began in 1970.
Since that time, the group’s train display and museum has grown to include almost 30 different rail cars and engines, plus a selection of railroad memorabilia and an extensive library.
The museum has added both rolling stock and motive power to its collection recently. Ongoing locomotive restoration projects include the Great Northern #598 and the Spokane Portland & Seattle #804. Learn more about the museum’s history on its About Us web page.
Reserving & Using the Pass
Each pass provides admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children in the same household. Admission includes one 2-foot–gauge train ride (additional rides $2).
These passes are available for a limited time: June–September 2026.
When you arrive at the museum, you will need to present your printed museum pass, along with photo ID that matches the name on the pass for entry.

Information for Visitors with Limited Mobility
The museum building, gift shop, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible, and an elevator provides service to both floors of the museum.
Given the nature of their collection, many of the historic rolling stock exhibits are not fully accessible and cannot be made so, having been designed and manufactured between 1914 and the early 1950s.
The path to the 2-foot–gauge train ride is graveled and may not work well for scooters, wheelchairs, or other wheeled mobility aids. The museum does have a special wheelchair that may be available at the user’s risk. The museum is committed to doing the best it can to make each visit enjoyable.
Cat Tales Wildlife Center Family Passes
Nestled in the heart of the Inland Northwest is Cat Tales Wildlife Center. The center is more than a zoo—it’s a wildlife shelter where animals find second chances and visitors discover unforgettable connections. From majestic big cats to playful foxes, every resident has a unique story waiting to be shared.
Each family pass provides one-day admission for two (2) adults and up to four (4) children in the same household. Children under age 5 and seniors age 65 and older are admitted free of charge.
OPEN HOURS
Open hours change throughout the year and vary by season, depending on the weather.
As the weather gets colder, Cat Tales will be open to the public for fewer days and shorter hours. To plan ahead, we recommend calling for updated open hours: 509.238.4126.
Last Entry Time: Cat Tales Wildlife Center recommends that visitors arrive at least 30 minutes before closing. This should give visitors enough time to enjoy their visit without feeling too rushed.

The Check Out Washington backpack is part of our Library of Things collection and includes binoculars, field guides, other interpretive materials, and a special Discover Pass for parking at Washington State Parks.
In partnership with Check Out Washington, this program is funded in part by the Washington State Parks Foundation.
You can place a hold on the Check Out Washington backpack in our catalog. The checkout period for the backpack is 7 days.
We hope that providing these passes will help increase awareness and access to state lands, especially for those who might not otherwise be able to obtain a Discover Pass.
The specially designed Library Discover Pass for the Check Out Washington program does not require a specific license plate number to use the pass. This means that library customers can use any vehicle, including rental vehicles, to park and access state parks and trailheads with this day-use Library Discover Pass.
Spokane Velocity Football Club Passes

Library customers are able to reserve a pass to home matches at ONE Spokane Stadium for the Spokane Velocity Football Club.
Each Spokane Velocity FC Pass provides four tickets to a home match. Please note that seats are pre-assigned and we cannot guarantee adjacent seating for all members of your group.

Each Velocity ticket from SCLD includes an unforgettable on-field experience.
To participate, visit the ticketing tent inside the stadium grounds near the box office entrance. Look for the sign that says “On-Field Experience” and head to that table.

How to Exchange Your Pass for Match Tickets
1. RESERVE one Spokane Velocity FC Pass. A pass can be redeemed for four (4) tickets to the specified match. ADA accessible seating is limited; please contact the ticket office at tickets@uslspokane.com at least 72 hours before the match for ADA assistance.
2. PRINT your confirmation email or SAVE it on your mobile device.
3. GO TO the Will Call window at One Spokane Stadium before the match. Bring your confirmation email and a photo ID matching the name on the reservation to exchange your pass for four (4) match tickets.

Additional Information about Attending a Match
Attendees may carry one clear plastic or vinyl bag no larger than 14″x14″x6″. Small clutch bags no larger than 6.5″x4.5″ (does not have to be clear) or clear one-gallon zip-top storage bags are also permitted.

Spokane Civic Theatre Passes
This award-winning nonprofit community theatre was founded in 1947 and is located in downtown Spokane’s North Bank district. Each season, the theatre produces 15–20 plays, musicals, and live events, supported by hundreds of volunteers and serving tens of thousands of audience members.
The theatre includes the Margot and Robert Ogden Main Stage and the Firth J. Chew Studio Theatre, which is an intimate black-box space used for smaller, experimental, and up-close productions. The theatre is committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment where the performance entertains, enlightens, and deepens community understanding of the human experience.
Each Spokane Civic Theatre Pass is available to reserve 30 days prior to the performance on a first-come, first-served basis.

Masterworks 1: Romeo and Juliet
Kabalevsky’s witty and sparkling Colas Breugnon Overture bursts open the season with swagger and wit. Pianist Mackenzie Melemed brings grandeur and brilliance to Amy Beach’s richly romantic Piano Concerto. Prokofiev’s searing music from Romeo and Juliet closes the night, where love, violence, and heartbreak blaze across one of the orchestra’s most vivid scores.

What defines the American sound? How to Get & Use a Spokane Symphony Pass
1. RESERVE up to two (2) Spokane Symphony Passes. Each pass can be redeemed for two (2) Spokane Symphony seats. Please note that seats are pre-assigned and we cannot guarantee adjacent seating for all members of your group. ADA accessible seating is limited.
2. PRINT the pass or SAVE a digital copy on your mobile device.
3. TAKE the pass to the Spokane Symphony Box Office (north entrance) at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox (1001 W Sprague Ave in downtown Spokane) to claim your tickets no later than 30 minutes prior to the performance. You must present photo ID that matches the name on the pass when picking up tickets.
The box office open hours are:
Tuesday & Wednesday: 10am–5pm
Thursday: 12–7pm
Friday: 10am–2pm
On Concert Days: 2 hours prior to performance and 30 minutes after the performance begins

Each pass is available to reserve 30 days prior to the performance on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers are limited to two (2) Spokane Symphony Passes, equivalent to four (4) tickets, per year.
Spokane Symphony Passes are available only to Spokane County Library District residents in unincorporated Spokane County and the affiliated cities and towns of Airway Heights, Cheney, Deer Park, Fairfield, Latah, Medical Lake, Millwood, Rockford, Spangle, Spokane Valley, and Waverly. Residents of Liberty Lake and the city of Spokane are not in-district for this program.
Other Cultural Passes
As we look to expand our museum and cultural pass program, we are also looking for sponsors for those programs. If you or your organization would like to sponsor a pass program, in whole or in part, you can email foundation@scld.org or call 509.893.8200.
You can also give a donation for general use to the Library Foundation of Spokane County at any time. The Library Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are eligible for tax deduction.
