Deer Park Library Closes Temporarily Due to HVAC Equipment Failure

Deer Park Library Temporary Closure
Due to an equipment failure in the air conditioning system, Deer Park Library will be closed on Sunday, June 29.
The library will reopen for curbside services only from 9am–12pm starting Monday, June 30, through Saturday, July 12 (except July 4 when closed for the holiday).
Our mobile library LINC will also be visiting on select days to offer additional services.
This closure may be extended depending on the status of necessary repairs. Updates will be sent by email and posted here and to our social media.
We apologize for the inconvenience of this closure.
Curbside Pickup
Curbside pickup service will be available at Deer Park Library Monday through Saturday from 9am to 12pm, starting Monday, June 30.
During this time, Deer Park Library staff are able to bring your holds to you at the curb and process materials you return to the external library drop box.
LINC Visits
LINC, our mobile library, will be visiting the Deer Park Library parking lot and will be open for customers to collect holds, use Wi-Fi, and even use library computers on the following dates:
- Thursday, July 3, 1–4pm
- Tuesday, July 8, 9:30am–1:30pm
- Thursday, July 10, 9–11:30am
- Saturday, July 12, 9:30am–4pm
In addition, LINC will be at the Deer Park Market on Saturday, July 5, 9am–3pm.
Events & Programs
Events and programs scheduled during the closure will be canceled and/or rescheduled for a later date.
