How Book a Librarian Works
Get personalized help from library staff with a variety of topics.
During your 45-minute, one-on-one session, library staff goes over the topic or question you have, showing you the best resources available through the library and elsewhere and helping you learn how to continue to find and use those resources once your appointment is finished.
Popular topics include but are not limited to:
- Setting up an email account
- Downloading eBooks or audiobooks
- Placing holds on library materials
- Getting help using a mobile device
- Locating educational resources for learning

The Glowforge 3D laser printer is located in The Lab at North Spokane Library, where Glowforge training sessions also take place.
Virtual Reality Session
The Oculus Quest 2 VR headset can provide a variety of experiences. With our various VR apps, you can get up close with nature, wander the universe, ride a roller coaster, defuse a bomb, get into the beat, and more.

The STCU Studio
The STCU Studio is located at Spokane Valley Library. Both STCU Studio orientation and one-on-one help with Studio equipment are available.
3D Printing Session
