The arts are for everyone, and now getting a pass for live theatre can be as easy as checking out a book. SCLD has partnered with Spokane Civic Theatre to share with you the talented artists and their performances at our local theatre.
Whether it’s a musical, a comedy, or a dramatic play, this new pass opens the door to a world of beloved stories, charming characters, and unforgettable music, giving you a chance to explore our talented and passionate community of entertainers.
Live theatre pulls you in because you’re in the same space as the actors, sharing the same laughs, surprises, and emotional moments. A live performance has a different energy than a movie or a show at home; it’s more immediate and personal. You can feel the audience reacting together, and that shared experience becomes part of the magic.
By making theatre more accessible with this library pass, SCLD is helping more people discover how fun, moving, and memorable live performances can be. We hope you get the chance to experience our vibrant local community theatre. Take it from a former theatre kid—the play is the thing!
SCLD has passes available for the 2026 performances of Emma, POTUS, The Glass Menagerie, Squalor, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Each Spokane Civic Theatre Pass is available to reserve 30 days prior to the performance on a first-come, first-served basis. This pass is available to in-district library card holders.
