Summer Family Museum Passes

More Family Museum Passes means more opportunities for you to experience local venues this summer! After the success of last year, the passes for the Inland Northwest Rail Museum are returning, giving train and history enthusiasts and anyone just learning about trains an enriching experience.

New this summer, extra passes to Mobius Discovery Center are available. Now more families can explore the interactive exhibits to create art, engage in sensory play, and discover STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) concepts with tactile and visual demonstrations.

If you are looking for other museum, cultural, and state park passes this summer, SCLD has them for Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, Cat Tales Wildlife Center, Spokane Velocity FC home games, and Check Out WA – Discover Pass Backpacks.

Inland Northwest Rail Museum

June–September 2026

Family Museum Passes for the Inland Northwest Rail Museum in Reardan, Washington, return this summer. Admission also includes one ride per person on the 2-foot gauge train.

For over 30 years, the train museum was located at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds. Many Spokane residents may remember riding the narrow-gauge train each September at the fairgrounds, where it was located until 2014. Now, everyone can enjoy the train ride, all of the restored trains, and railroad memorabilia at the museum in Reardan.

The museum’s collection includes almost 30 different rail cars and engines, plus an outstanding selection of railroad memorabilia and an extensive library. They have added both rolling stock and motive power to the collection in recent years. Ongoing locomotive restoration projects include Great Northern #598 and Spokane Portland & Seattle #804.

The museum aims to preserve the history of railroading in the Inland Northwest for future generations to explore.
