You may have already checked out the Ready for School with STEM kits for younger children (ages 3–5) from the library. Or perhaps you’ve borrowed our Snap Circuits set for elementary school students. We have heard positive reviews from library customers for both of these kits.

In response, we are pleased to announce our new STEM Explorer Kits for students in grades K–5. Each kit focuses on a different topic from the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.

The kits include a collection of things to explore, such as a book, hands-on activities, learning games, or scientific equipment, though not every kit includes all of these things.

You can check out a STEM Explorer Kit for 28 days. Due to limited availability and the popularity of these kits, checkout is limited to one STEM Explorer Kit per customer at a time.

Students under the age of 10 may need adult help with the activities. For children under the age of 5, we recommend the Ready for School with STEM kits.

Here are 17 kits to explore:

Click any kit above to find it in our catalog and place a hold. These kits can be picked up in the library and using our curbside service.

STEM Explorer Kits are made possible through the generous contribution of the Diane E. Zahand Memorial Fund.
